UNH Offers A Sales Boot Camp for Business Professionals

Portsmouth, New Hampshire –

Sales Boot Camp is one of the many new programs offered by UNH Professional Development & Training. Targeted at business executives and other professionals who find themselves in the position of "selling" with little or no formal training, the Sales Boot Camp provides the foundation and the drills required to succeed.

The three-day program will be held at the UNH Training Facility at the Pease Tradeport in Portsmouth.

Participants will learn effective sales techniques, have an opportunity to practice their sales skills, and get individualized feedback to maximize their sales ability.

The instructor, Catherine Blake, has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience and is the President and Founder of Sales Protocol International, a firm specializing in shaping sales organizations using ethics, etiquette and enthusiasm. The program imbues leadership skills into a proven consultative selling foundation that results not only in sales, but long-term client relationships. Ms. Blake has been with three FORTUNE 500 companies, and several start-ups, conducted business on four continents, and has successfully sold products and services ranging from television station automation systems to NBC to Internet and Web-based services to defense contractors.

Sales Boot Camp is part of the Marketing Certificate Program, also offered by UNH Professional Development & Training, but participants do not need to enroll in the program to take this institute. Cost of the institute is $496 and includes lunch and materials. Participants receive 1.8 CEUs (continuing education units) attesting to their professional development. The CRN (course reference number) for this institute is 15409.

Registration can be done by phone (603/862-2015 or 1/800/313-5327), or on the web at www.learn.unh.edu (click on Professional Development).
